Guliani is helemaal geen meesterzet geweest denk ik. Hoewel ik denk dat control the narrative zeer belangrijk is voor Trump, is dat niet het enige belang. Trump heeft ook sec juridisch problemen en Guliani zijn optredens bijten dit belang behoorlijk (dit is bv nog wel een dingetje). Het model dat Cohen nu gekozen heeft (1 "PR-advocaat" en een sterke "jurdische-advocaat" die met elkaar overleggen) lijkt mij een veel betere strategie. Maar waarschijnlijk ligt het probleem eerder bij Trump die toch niet luistert naar zijn advocaten, iets dat voor de rest van wereld misschien weer gunstig uitpakt.quote:

Als je op de link geklikt had, had je gezien dat het niet alleen om Mueller zijn zaak gaat. Tevens zijn er genoeg juridische hordes voordat er überhaupt een rapport bij de senaat ligt. Denk aan dingen als: het potentiële gevecht rond dagvaardingen voor een grand jury, hoever reikt executive privilege om geen vragen te hoeven beantwoorden, mag een president aangeklaagd worden terwijl hij in functie is, etc, etc.
