Wat er zich precies heeft afgespeeld is niet bekend. De schietpartij had even na 22.00 lokale tijd plaats op straat in de wijk Greektown.
Getuigen vertelden de Toronto Star dat een in het zwart geklede man het vuur opende. Volgens getuigen heeft hij ongeveer 25 keer geschoten.
Zo zie je maar weer dat je maar beter niet meer naar Canada kan gaan. Daar worden alle mensen doodgeschoten.

Toronto gunman, 29, who killed a girl, 10, an aspiring nurse, 18, and wounded 12 in mass shooting is identified as Faisal Hussain: Killer's family comes forward saying he had 'mental health struggles' and 'psychosis'
'Our son had severe mental health challenges, struggling with psychosis and depression his entire life.'
They added that he had tried numerous medications and therapy treatments but nothing had helped.
'While we did our best to seek help for him throughout his life of struggle and pain, we could never imagine that this would be his devastating and destructive end,' they continued.
The family, who have not been named, say they want to share their deep condolences to the families of those affected by Hussain's 'horrific actions.'
'Our hearts are in pieces for the victims and for our city as we all come to grips with this terrible tragedy. We will mourn those who were lost for the rest of our lives.'
Police said they were still investigating a possible motive behind the shooting.
