Alles wat je altijd al over computers, hardware, software, internet en elektronische gadgets had willen weten, maar niet op Tweakers.net durft te vragen.
Ik zoek wat op google en vind wat conflicterende informatie.
Ten eerste gebruik ik de NAS niet in 1 - single volume.
Maar gebruik elke fysieke schijf afzonderlijk die te benaderen is onder zijn eigen share.
Geen redundantie. Maar puur de nas zorgt ervoor dat het via het netwerk te bereiken is.
Situatie nu : 1x 8 tb 2x 10 TB. 2 slots vrij.
Plan: 2x 10 TB erbij. DX513 expansion unit en dan 5x 10 TB in toekomst zoals het nodig zal worden.
Gaat mijn plan wel lukken is de vraag. of is dit teveel ruimte voor het apparaat om te handelen?

Maar het is me onduidelijk of 30TB echt het maximum is of dat het het maximum is met 6TB schijven. Als dit het echt maximum is dan heb je nu nog 2 TB te gaan voor synology nee zegt.

Zeker omdat ze zeggen 6 TB.. terwijl ik er 10 TB in heb zitten. Maar Dat gaat misschien uit van de maximale grootte van 1 volume dat moet in raid/shr opstelling en in gelijke schijven en dus daarom 5x 6 TB.
Misschien is de maximale groote voor Non raid volumes wel heel anders.
Misschien is die 30 TB alleen de maximale grootte voor 1 volume en niet de echte maximale grootte die de synology ondersteund als je meerdere volumes hebt..?

Nice 120 TB. Dus 48 TB+50 TB met 1 expansion unit moet lukken. een 2de expansion unit echter kan ik vergeten.quote:
