Idaho police said nine people were hospitalized early on Sunday and one man was in custody after a mass stabbing at an apartment complex in Boise that is home to many refugee families.

Boise police chief Bill Bones said all nine of the injured were taken to hospitals, some with life-threatening injuries.

“At this point we haven’t lost anybody but as I said the injuries are very serious,” Bones said.

Police did not yet have a suspected motive for the attack but said a 30-year-old man was in custody.

Carper (Del.) — open a window on the often close relationship between the EPA’s political appointees and those they regulate. Littered among tens of thousands of emails that have surfaced in recent weeks, largely through a public records lawsuit filed by the Sierra Club, are dozens of requests for regulatory relief by industry players. "Principals have not even met to review any text of legislation on reciprocal trade," Walters told the news site.
The proposal would likely face significant headwinds in Congress, including from Trump's own party, which has embraced free trade agreements and bristled at the administration's tariffs on key US trading partners.
The report on the bill draft came days after Axios reported that Trump suggested privately that he wanted to withdraw the US from the WTO.
The leaked proposal, referred to as the "United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act," would give Trump the authority, based on the administration's assessment of trading policies between nations, to renegotiate or apply tariffs as he sees fit to push individual countries on trade.
The report notes that the authority the proposal would grant to Trump would essentially mean letting him move away from collective rules underpinning the WTO.

Daar ben ik het niet echt mee eens. De bedrijven die het moeten doen klagen steen en been over de idiote tarieven die Trump overal opknalt. Om een paar duizend banen te redden in een hi-tech volledig gerobotiseerde industrie als die van de zonnepanelenindustrie bracht hij tienduizenden banen van installateurs in gevaar.
Hij weet zichzelf misschien goed te verkopen, maar zelf dat trucje begint er steeds minder overtuigend uit te zien.
