Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.
Met gratis gamen is niets mis, regelmatig zijn er uitgevers die spellen voor nop weggeven. Om het overzichtelijk te houden en om onze mede-FOK!kers van dienst te zijn is er nu dit topic. Wanneer er een spel (tijdelijk) gratis is of wanneer er een spel F2P gaat kun je het hier linken. Vergeet niet om erbij te plaatsen voor welk platform het is en tot wanneer de actie geldt.
Ook kun je als je spellen overhoudt na bijvoorbeeld de aanschaf van een bundel, en je bent in een vrijgevige bui, mensen blij maken met een gratis game.

De DRM vrije GoG versies, hebben oudere games die vaak wel compatible zijn met nieuwere besturingssystemen. Zoals FallOut 3 bijvoorbeeld. De steamversie is niet met Windows 10 te spelen en er zit nog Games for Windows Live geintegreerd, wat niet meer werkt natuurlijk tegenwoordig. In de GoG versie is dat eruit gesloopt en werkt het wel onder Windows 10.

Als je goedkoop wil gamen dan moet je gewoon zorgen dat je achterloopt. Tijdens steamsale koop je ieder jaar een paar goty's van onder de 3 euro per stuk. Zo hoef je ook niet mee in de upgraderace van je hardware, scheelt daar ook weer geld. Je kunt nooit al die goty-spellen allemaal al uitgespeeld hebben. Simpel. En crysis, metro en andere games zijn ook een plaatje om naar te kijken hoor, je hoeft niet altijd 2019 games te spelen voor wat fun.

Downloaded Axiom Verge from Epic Store (it's free and I hear it's good). Game crashes 100% entering an area. I poke around & find the log files. Turns out it's missing a sound effect: "steam". I have a pretty good idea how & why that happened, lolquote:
