Starting with Soulwax. The brothers Dewaele, the pride of Belgium since the 90’s regarding rock and electro. De duo from Gent is coming back to Dour for the first time since 1996 and they are presenting us their latest album From Deewee.
Let’s continue within the rock scene, because after a break of more than 20 years, Slowdive, comes back on stage. They’ll celebrate their return at Dour Festival with their typical English shoegaze. With a lot of joy we are also announcing the diva Beth Ditto, back again to conquer all your hearts, de British dandy Baxter Dury, de Canadian fusion jazz band BADBADNOTGOOD and the refreshing sounds of Moses Boyd. The Belgian band BRNS is joining us with a new album.
Everything Diplo touches transforms into gold. Here at Dour we gave him a blank cheque to close the Balzaal on Wednesday. Speaking of precious metals, Angèle, the Belgian rising star, is ready to enchant you with her magical voice. Next to that we have some projects guaranteed to bring you the African sun, de Congolese KOKOKO! the Nigerian Wizkid and the explosive afrobeat of the French band Tshegue.
To represent hip-hop we are receiving none other than the former Outkast member, Big Boi. Just like the French Lomepal, MHD and Biffty & DJ Weedim. The Suede Yung Lean & Sad Boys is introducing us to his melancholic rap.
To still your hunger regarding the electronic scene, we are serving you a grand menu. Shows to devour from Dave Clarke and Robert Hood, 2 living legends. The German producers Boys Noize dj set, Boris Brejcha live and the duos Kollektiv Turmstasse and Âme II Âme will be joining us.
We finish our list with some highly praised producers. The Dutch Noisia dj set feat. 2Shy, de French collective Hungry 5 feat. Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor as well as the British Jon Hopkins live, Ross From Friends, Macky Gee feat. IC3 and the new Killbox (Ed Rush + Audio) feat. 2Shy.

Die band doet weinig in Nederland maar in Engeland en vooral Amerika is die band best groot geworden. In Amerika doet hij inmiddels arena's groter dan Ziggo Dome. Ik ben zelf afgehaakt bij Pretty. Odd. maar sinds Brandon het laatste originele lid is, is de band groter dan ooit geworden.
