Wat er gisteren gebeurde is geen blunder van Trump. Het is geen verspreking. Dat impliceert nog een bepaalde onopzettelijkheid. Het herroepen van van zijn statement van maandag is gewoon terreur goedpraten.

Als ik heel eerlijk ben, hoeft van mij niet die hele beweging veroordeeld te worden omdat één gek op een menigte inrijdt. Net zoals ik het onzinnig vind als er een individuele moslim is die iemand vermoordt en het opeens terreur is, stop de persen, iedereen in paniek - dat irriteert mij altijd mateloos. Als het terreur is moet het een enigszins gecoördineerde actie zijn van een ideologische beweging. Zijn daar aanwijzingen voor?
