Als je een beroepsopleiding volgt ( en soms universitair vervolgt) en wordt beoordeeld tijdens de opleiding op journalistieke skills en inzichten...
Dan voelt het - lijkt mij - tegennatuurlijk om het beroep op een discutabele niét objectieve en manipulerende
wijze uit te voeren.

Een journalist moet het nieuws duiden. Als het blijft bij 'he said, she said' dan is er niet veel voor nodig om journalist te kunnen zijn. Een journalist mag dus best een overtuiging hebben, als de wijze van berichtgeving maar voldoet aan journalistieke principes.quote:

Er is namelijk geen objectieve waarheid in zaken als bijvoorbeeld politiek. Daar kun je dus nooit objectief over berichten.
