This week will see the debut of my new show, The Bas Rutten Experiment, and I have to say, I'm more than a little excited about it. This blog collaboration between myself and Champions has been great fun, so we figured, why not apply this to a show and give everyone a live-action version.
I've put together a list of questions that I figured you guys/gals would want to know the answers to, then answered them to give you all the specifics.
How did the show come about?
It's simple, Champions asked me if I would be interested in doing some funny sketches on camera, and since I love to do that kind of stuff, I said yes.
What is the premise of the show?
We let Bas do whatever he wants to do. Everybody has ideas, so we put them together, we go over it and what we like, we keep, and what we don't, we lose. The thing is to let me go out there and do crazy things.
How many episodes will there be?
We shot three episodes so far, and then we will see what the people think of it. If they like it, we keep going. If I start to get death threats, we still keep going, haha, but when they don't like it...
How does this show differ from previous shows I've done?
It's not focused on MMA, and it's not me in a bar beating people up. I'm not saying we don't make an episode like that one day, but I am saying that Bas is doing all different kinds of things: knitting, coming up with product ideas, selling flowers, being a politician, whatever we can come up with, Bas will do.

The Bas Rutten Experiment airs tomorrow, March 21, 2017 at 6 A.M. PST / 9 A.M. EST on the Champions YouTube Channel, and we'll be releasing subsequent episodes on March 28 and April 4.
