Actually it's an English language section, with the intention to discuss things in the English language this to open up Fok! for more people like expats in Holland, or people who emigrated long ago and lost their ability to discuss properly in the Dutch language, i can't imagine that the intention was to discuss daily life in England. I'm certain there's a telly section somewhere on this forum where this topic would fit in a better way than it does inhere.quote:Op zaterdag 2 januari 2016 13:42 schreef Semisane het volgende:

Of course, I used to love that show.quote:Op zondag 3 januari 2016 00:01 schreef LompeHork het volgende:
Let's not forget Little Britain! so epic, much laughter.
My wife used to watch that show, it was about King's College Hospital in the beginning right? I know they switched hospitals in one of the seasons, but lost track of the series at one point. Quite interesting to say the least.quote:Op zondag 3 januari 2016 00:02 schreef Childofthe90s het volgende:
Does anyone know the programme called 24 Hours in A&E. It airs on Channel 4, it's an award winning documentary series on British first-aid workers and it's just really interesting.
Correct! They're now filming in St. George's Hospital. It's really well made.quote:Op zondag 3 januari 2016 00:06 schreef LompeHork het volgende:

The documentaries made by Adam Curtis are excellent. I recently watched All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace and am watching Century of the Self at the moment. Both are very good.quote:Op zaterdag 2 januari 2016 13:53 schreef Molurus het volgende:
BBC documentaries tend to be *extremely* good compared to anything else on TV.
But those guys have a huge budget I'm sure.
