fantastische belgische serie, beetje in de stijl van Penoza met een aantal epische karakters. Maar wat een onzin dat alleen seizoen 2 erop staat. Als je daaraan begint weet je al meer van S1 dan je wilt.

Zoiets moet Netflix echt niet vind ik, of een serie vanaf het begin erop zetten, of niet.

De streamingdienst heeft de rechten verworven om een dertiendelige mini-serie te maken van het boek 13 Reasons Why. Van het boek wordt dus een serie gemaakt, die exclusief te zien zal zijn op Netflix. Gomez zal eveneens betrokken zijn bij de productie van 13 Reasons Why. In de serie speelt Gomez de rol van Hannah. Zij pleegt zelfmoord en via cassettes geeft zij uitleg over het waarom. Deze tapes komen terecht bij Clay. Wanneer 13 Reasons Why op Netflix te zien zal zijn is nog niet bekend.

Netflix komt in 2016 met de komediefilm The True Memoirs of an International Assassin en de twee hoofdrolspelers zijn voor ons al een reden om deze Netflix Original Film te willen zien. Kevin James, bekend van onder andere The King of Queens, speelt de mannelijke hoofdrol en de bloedmooie Genesis Rodriguez heeft de vrouwelijke hoofdrol te pakken. Je kunt je op Netflix al vergaapt hebben aan Rodriguez in Man on a Ledge of The Last Stand. In The True Memoirs of an International Assassin speelt Rodriguez een undercover DEA-agente, maar ze raakt haar dekmantel kwijt en moet dan samenwerken met Kevin James.

Ik heb hem pas geleden ook gezien. Ik vond hem zeker beter dan de sterren op Netflix, of de waardering op IMDB. Lastig om zo'n setting mensen te blijven boeien. Enige jammere is dat ik het einde al vrij snel aan zag komen. En vwb het niet hebben van een "einde" dat is juist de kracht van dit soort films. Net als de Cube-serie bijvoorbeeld.
