SPOILER: The Duggar Family infoThe Duggars live in Tontitown, Arkansas and originally appeared in several TLC and Discovery Health one-hour specials, mostly focused on four of Michelle's last five deliveries. The couple met in the early 1980s when Jim Bob Duggar and a fellow church member were sent for a follow-up visit after Michelle Duggar experienced a religious conversion. Jim Bob and Michelle were married on July 21, 1984, just after Michelle's high school graduation. She was 17 and he was 19 when they married; neither went to college. Together, they launched a used-car business, then towing and real estate businesses. They are both licensed real estate agents.
The Duggars chose to wait before having children and used birth control pills in the early years of their marriage. Their eldest child, Joshua, was born in 1988. They resumed using oral contraceptives after Josh's birth but conceived again despite this precaution. Michelle miscarried that pregnancy. Michelle has mentioned that they named that child Caleb, despite not knowing the baby's sex for certain. The Duggars believed the miscarriage was due to their use of contraceptives, and decided to stop using birth control. They decided to allow God to determine the number of children they would have. Michelle soon became pregnant again, this time with her first set of twins, Jana and John-David. Michelle has given birth 17 times (twice with twins) over a period of 21 and a half years, approximately one birth every 15 months.
The Duggars are devout Independent Baptists. They only watch programs they consider to be wholesome family television and various historical events. Their Internet service is filtered. They adhere to certain standards of modesty in clothing in accordance with their religious beliefs. Shorts and tank tops are prohibited, and the women do not wear skirts with a length above the knee. According to Michelle Duggar's interpretation of scripture: "God talks about the thigh being uncovered, and how that's nakedness and shame". Michelle says such dress runs risk of "defrauding" others clarifying, "for us the definition of the word defrauding is to stir up desires in someone else that cannot be righteously fulfilled". They avoid beaches and public swimming areas "because it's just too hard for the guys to try to keep their eyes averted in those situations". Female family members do not cut their hair short, and males are clean-shaven and short-haired. They practice chaperoned courtship, where the couple gets to know each other in a group setting. The Duggars describe this as "dating with a purpose".
The children are homeschooled using a mix of materials, including "Switched On Schoolhouse", Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP), and Accelerated Christian Education (ACE). Several of the older children use the CollegePlus! program for post-secondary studies.
The Duggars use a buddy system to raise their children, in which an older child is assigned to a younger sibling and assists in the latter's primary care. According to Michelle, "They help with their little phonics lessons and games during the day and help them practice their music lessons. They will play with them or help them pick out the color of their outfit that day, and just all of those types of things."
Jim Bob Duggar served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He was defeated for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate by incumbent Tim Hutchinson in 2002 by a vote of 71,576 to 20,546. He later became a real estate agent and investor. The Duggars' income is derived from rental proceeds of commercial properties they own. They live debt-free.
Construction of their 7,000 square-foot (650 square-meter) house began in 2000 when they bought the lot and ordered two steel frames. One of the frames was not drilled correctly, so the Duggars received a third frame which was used to make the girls' room and the industrial kitchen. Discovery Networks completed it, finding local Arkansas construction workers to donate their skills and time. The home was completed on January 20, 2006 . Some of the painting, decorating, furnishings, appliances, and other finishing touches--such as a stocked pantry--were provided by Discovery Networks and corporate sponsors as part of the one-hour television special entitled 16 Children and Moving In.

An Arkansas law enforcement source told Radar Online the 27-year-old business owner was arrested in 2011 and again in 2013 for driving under the influence. Per state law, he likely served time for the second arrest. We confirmed independently that Dillon has an arrest record, which includes a May 2014 booking on an undisclosed misdemeanor charge.On top of Dillon’s run-ins with the law, Radar Online previously reported that Dillon was hit with a $579 tax lien in September 2014 for unpaid taxes.
Amy said she has “no comment” about Dillon’s record. Following years of friendship and a whirlwind romance, the pair got engaged in mid-July. They plan to marry in early September.

Cancelling 19Kids and Counting cost TLC parent Discovery 19 million and counting
In case you were wondering just how much money TLC lost by canceling 19 Kids and Counting in the wake of the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, the network’s parent company,
Discovery Communications, revealed the figure today. The loss? Somewhere in the neighborhood of $19 million.That amount comes from Discovery Communications CFO Andrew Warren, who shared in a post-earnings conference call this morning that the company’s disappointing profits in the second quarter were due in part to “higher restructuring and other charges this year of $19 million, primarily due to content impairment charges of canceling TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting.”As The Wrap points out, the figure for restructuring and other charges in the second quarter was actually $24 million, which was up $19 million from the same quarter in 2014.
But it seems all the blame for Discovery Communications’ lackluster second quarter can’t all be put on the many, many shoulders of the Duggar family; the global mass media and entertainment company’s profits dropped way more than $19 million from the previous year. According to Tuesday’s earnings report, Discovery Communications’ net income fell nearly 25 percent, from $379 million to $286 million, year to year.The Quarter 2 earnings report had a huge effect on the company’s stock (DISCA), which plummeted more than 12 percent on Wednesday–from $32.86 to $28.87 per share.Regardless of all the gloomy numbers, Discover Communications President and CEO David Zaslav remained positive. “Driven by our unmatched portfolio and steady growth around the world, Discovery’s strong start to the year continued in the second quarter,” he said.

July 16, 2015: TLC permanently cancels 19 Kids and Counting. "After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting," a statement on the network's website says.

June 3, 2015: Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar appear on television for the first time since news of the sexual abuse scandal broke. The Duggar's acknowledge that four of the victims were their daughters, including younger sisters Jill and Jessa, who also spoke to Fox News reporter, Megyn Kelly.
The Duggars believe the bigger story is how Josh's police records were released (under a Freedom of Information Act), and they threatened to sue, to "protect juvenile records because mistakes juveniles make when they're young should be sealed," Jim Bob says.
The couple say they believe they can save their TV show, 19 Kids and Counting.
July 16, 2015: TLC permanently cancels 19 Kids and Counting. "After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting," a statement on the network's website says.
"The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection," the statement says. The network said it plans on releasing a one-hour documentary, that will include some of the Duggars, and other families that have been affected by abuse.

Matthew, a Los Angeles-based DJ, told Gawker his picture has been used in multiple catfish profiles since it was grabbed from Facebook in 2010 and tagged as “random guy.” To this day, if you search that term on Google, the picture of Matthew that was used on OKCupid is one of the top few results.
Although Josh wasn’t the first to use Matthew’s picture, the 30-year-old DJ said the OKCupid profile is damaging his reputation unlike any other catfish profile.
“Now that I’ve found out that this guy’s a child molester, and he’s unfaithful and all those other things–it’s awful,” he said. “[I] am basically the exact opposite of him. And now, this maniac is using my pictures online to try to get laid. It’s just crazy–it’s surreal.”
Worse yet, Matthew told TMZ Josh already made him lose a job because “the club felt he was part of the sex scandal.” Matthew said he is now considering a defamation lawsuit against the ex-reality star. If he can prove he lost a job as a direct result of Josh’s profile, he might have a real case.
Although Anna Duggar hasn’t directly addressed her husband’s latest controversy–even though Josh and his parents have–there is virtually no chance she will leave him. Her own brother confirmed that in a series of Facebook messages this weekend–and further voiced his disgust with “that pig,” Josh.

"I don't think Josh will see that this is a big deal and be truly broken till [Anna moving out] happens," he added. "I bet my life on the fact that Josh has not come to true brokenness yet."

Most reports speculate that Josh is seeking treatment at Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois, a Christian, biblically-based recovery program.
"They are an incredible Christian based drug/ alcohol addiction program," Josh's parents Jim Bob and Michelle posted about the treatment center last October. "While there, we saw our good friends Godfrey and Launa Watson from Jamaica, too. Love supporting organizations and events like these."

Could there be a new Duggar show in the works? Last year, the idea seemed an impossibility, given the ongoing Josh Duggar scandals and his family’s fast fall from reality television grace. In 2016, though, new comments from network executives–including higher ups at TLC, the Duggars’ former home network–have made a new Duggar show look at least possible, if not likely.
It was only seven months ago that 19 Kids And Counting was canceled amid a firestorm of criticism stemming from Josh Duggar’s childhood molestation of several of his siblings and the Duggar family’s coverup of the story. The cancelation has cost TLC upwards of $20 million dollars, and subsequent fallout from the Ashley Madison hacking scandal led disgraced former moralist Josh Duggar to call himself “the biggest hypocrite ever” and flee to sex addiction treatment. Former family insiders have come clean about the “dictatorship” that Jim Bob Duggar, family patriarch, runs inside his family’s Arkansas compound. And Danica Dillon, one of Josh Duggar’s former mistresses, came forward with a story about the “traumatic” sex the two had, before suing Josh for $500,000 in civil court.
At the same time, TLC’s three-part Jill & Jessa: Counting On special, which detailed the lives of the Duggars in the wake of the mid-year scandals, drew big ratings for the network. While the miniseries focused primarily on Jill Duggar and Jessa Seewald, both of whom were molested by Josh Duggar in their youth, the episodes also gave Josh’s wife Anna Duggar a chance to speak for herself for the first time since the scandals broke. Speculation about the likelihood of a Josh and Anna Duggar divorce was rampant; while Anna ultimately decided that she wanted a “restored marriage” with the husband of her four children, she did at one point compare Josh to a baby, and said that the pain of his disgrace was worse than childbirth.

Keeping all of that drama straight has been difficult for fans and detractors of the Duggar family, and it’s one reason why TLC is reportedly considering bringing the family back to its airwaves in some capacity–possibly in the form of another Jill & Jessa special. At least one new report suggests that the network is in preliminary talks with the family, and Nancy Daniels, executive vice president of TLC, recently told reporters that the show’s audience “still cares” about the Duggar family girls, so she and her people are in turn “still talking” about new Duggar-based programming.
Regarding Josh Duggar and his many scandals, Daniels was more careful with her language: “Every decision we’ve made has been done very thoughtfully and very carefully about what is in the best interests of the people involved and the network.
”Daniels noted that the Jill & Jessa specials drew an average of three million viewers per night. She also defended TLC’s screening process for on-air talent–Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was also canceled, in late 2014, because of child molestation-related concerns–telling reporters “We do have a strong screening process, and I think, over the years, our screening process has evolved.”

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Jinger Duggar, 22, and professional soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, 28, are officially courting – and their courtship will be a big part of the new season of Counting On when it returns to TLC later this summer.
Of their courtship – the Duggar-approved way of dating that has couples getting to know each other as a preparation for marriage – Jinger tells PEOPLE she met Vuolo last May.
The two then "had the opportunity to go on a missions trip together," she says.

Indeed, Vuolo has long been friends with Jinger's sister Jessa, 23, and her husband Ben, 21, and has regularly appeared in videos shared by Jessa via her YouTube channel.

Dat geen van hun volgende kinderen zo vroeg en zo groot geboren gaat worden is ook puur toeval.
Stel ze had zo op haar huwelijksnacht of vlak daarna haar eisprong, dan zou ze theoretisch gezien op die foto in het artikel op 2 oktober tussen de 20 en 21 weken zijn. Dat is de langste termijn mogelijk als ze zich aan de regels gehouden hebben.
De baby zou dan geboren worden rond Valentijnsdag (40 weken).
De announcement was trouwens niet op 2 oktober. Volgens het artikel denkt die gyn dat ze op die foto van 2 oktober ongeveer 24-26 weken is toch? Dan zou ze dus op haar announcement foto 16-17 weken geweest zijn? Anyway, dan zou ze dus tussen de 3 en 5 weken verder zijn en wordt de baby begin/half januari geboren.

Dat mag ik hopen van wel, zo te zien was het ook niet een kind dat nog gered had kunnen worden als ze geboren was voor ze in de baarmoeder overleed, lijkt me minder dan 24 weken zwangerschap, en als je dan al 45 bent dan zijn dat toch echt dingen die behoorlijk meespelen, dan is het echt tijd om naar de artsen te gaan luisteren.quote:
