Square Enix heeft een rpg aangekondigd voor Apple Watch met de naam Cosmos Rings. De game maakt onder andere gebruik van de stappenteller in de smartwatch en de 'Digital Crown'. De game moet 'in de zomer' dit jaar uitkomen.
Veel is nog niet bekend over het spel, behalve dat Square Enix een 'coming soon'-pagina op zijn Japanse website heeft geplaatst en er een bericht in het Japans op Famitsu staat. De game is afgeleid van de Chaos Rings-franchise van Square Enix. In het spel loopt de tijd terug afhankelijk van het aantal stappen dat gezet is. Bediening geschiedt onder andere via de kroon van het horloge.
Het verhaal van de game gaat over een 'wereld van menselijke emoties' waarbij de 'Goddess of Time' teruggebracht moet worden. Wat er precies mee bedoeld wordt, is nog onduidelijk.
Wat de game gaat kosten en wat de precieze release-datum is, is nog niet bekend.

En aangezien dat spel een maand of twee voor het einde van het financile jaar uitkwam in Japan en nog niet uitkwam in de rest van de wereld is er nog niet heel veel aan de hand lijkt me.
Beetje vreemd alleen dat ze het alleen voor PS4 uitbrengen, dit spel schreeuwt echt om een handheld-versie.
