Spin off zie ik echt helemaal niet zitten.
Diane was wel interessant maar eigenlijk hebben ze die helemaal uitgespeeld. Ze heeft al in coups gezeten, meerdere drama's om haar rechtse man, haar relatie met Will, met Alicia, politieke ambities..., wat willen ze nieuw doen?
Luca was een beetje een non-karakter, meer als klankboord van Alicia en later Jason dan dat ze als persoon iets had, op die fling met die muzikant na. Misschien meer ruimte om te ontwikkelen, maar zeker geen personage dat schreeuwt om een spin off.
Dit klinkt als uitmelken.

Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat het meer dan een case of the weekshow wordt. Zo heel veel diepgang zit er ook niet in Diane en Lucca. De politiek mist sowieso en dat is de hoofdreden dat ik keek.

Attention, Good Wife fans: Court will reconvene in early 2017.
The in-the-works Good Wife spinoff — starring Christine Baranski (Diane) and Cush Jumbo (Lucca) — will launch earlier than expected — this February — on CBS, before moving exclusively to CBS All Access.
The move comes in conjunction with CBS’ decision to push the launch of Star Trek: Discovery from January to May.
Additionally, Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King will formally serve as showrunners on the offshoot. Meanwhile, Phil Alden Robinson — who co-wrote the premiere episode with the Kings — will not be involved with the series beyond Episode 1.
With the Kings once again fully immersed in all things Good Wife, it’s probably safe to assume their CBS passion project BrainDead — which wrapped its first season last Sunday — will not be back for a second season.
As previously reported, the spinoff will pick up one year after Diane KO’d Alicia in last May’s Good Wife series finale. And although Julianna Margulies isn’t currently set to appear, Michelle King recently hinted that “we might see Alicia.”
“It’ll be fun to build [the company] anew,” Michelle shared, adding that the currently untitled series will likely feature other familiar faces beyond Diane and Lucca. “But also,” King added, “the thinking is new characters.”

The ensemble also includes Good Wife newbies Delroy Lindo (Chicago Code), Paul Guilfoyle (CSI), Bernadette Peters (Smash) and the just-cast Erica Tazel (Justified).
Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King return as showrunners and EPs on The Good Fight. Longtime Good Wife director Brooke Kennedy, meanwhile, is set to helm the premiere.

Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King will be taking full advantage of CBS All Access’ decidedly looser restrictions when spinoff series The Good Fight premieres in February. For starters, Christine Baranski‘s delightfully no-nonsense Diane will at long last be able to channel her inner George Carlin.
“Oh yeah, Diane is going to swear,” Robert King tells TVLine, exclusively. “There is nothing quite like hearing Christine Baranski swear.”
And given the inciting incident that jump starts the Good Wife offshoot, Diane will have no shortage of reasons to drop an F-bomb or two. As previously reported, The Good Fight picks up one year after the events of last May’s finale and finds Diane forced to start over at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms (where Cush Jumbo’s Lucca also works) after a huge financial scam has wiped out her entire savings and destroyed the reputation of her goddaughter Maia (played by Game of Thrones actress Rose Leslie).
The Good Fight will make its broadcast debut on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8/7c. The premiere will bow simultaneously on the network’s streaming service, which will exclusively host all of Season 1’s remaining episodes (on subsequent Sundays).
The full-time cast also includes fellow Good Wife fave Sarah Steele (Marissa), as well as franchise newbies Delroy Lindo (Chicago Code), Paul Guilfoyle (CSI), Bernadette Peters (Smash), Justin Bartha (The New Normal) and Erica Tazel (Justified). A number of Good Wife alums will appear on a guest-star basis, including Gary Cole (Kurt), Carrie Preston (Elsbeth), Michael Boatman (Julius), Zach Grenier (David) and Jerry Adler (Howard).

Het staat op Netflix nu dus met een beetje werk kan je vast wel meer mensen enthousiasmeren.

Bij mij is het meer werk. Ik volg echt veel te weinig op het moment al is dat ergens maar goed ook

De eerste aflevering was moeilijk om af te kijken. Daarna is het een stuk beter. Toch vond ik het origineel leuker.
Nog te vroeg voor mij om te zeggen welke serie beter is, maar het verschil is erg klein, want ik zit elke week te genieten weer!

Ik was al fan van TGW, maar TGF vind ik ook geweldig. Het is alsof de serie doorloopt maar dan zonder Alicia. Blijft nog steeds erg sterk.

Eens met jullie, wat een leuke serie
De 1e aflevering was om even los te weken van TGW, waarin Alicia en Will nog benoemd werden. Ik zat al snel in het nieuwe verhaal en mis Alicia echt totaal niet. Verder komt alles wel bekend voor, zoals de muziek en de manier van filmen, maar net in een nieuw jasje. De terugkerende rollen zijn fijn en Marissa uiteraard!
