Zou dan de Nikon doen, die heeft VR aan boord (stabilisatie). Ik weet niet wat je budget is, maar ik zou even doorsparen en meteen voor de Nikon 70-300VR gaan.

Al zou ik zelf voor Thailand er een 35/1.8G bij scoren, zeker als je er ook in de avonduren en binnenshuis op uit gaat. Lekker licht en klein in combinatie met je D3100.

Dit zijn inderdaad de zaken die naar voren komen uit diverse reviews die ik gezien heb.

Ik heb voor 2014 een aantal bruiloften gepland staan. In 2013 heb ik steeds de D700 gehuurd voor bruiloften. Maar wil nu zelf een FX kopen.

De D800(E)/D4 zijn me te duur.

De D610 lijkt me een prima camera voor bruiloften. Geen "pro" body maar wel "pro" prestaties.

Je kan altijd nog focus-recompose doen vanaf een van de buitenste AF punten, en dan hoef je nog maar een klein stukje zodat je minder snel in de knel komt met krappe DoF.

Hoeft niet voor iedereen een probleem te zijn. Kan natuurlijk wel. Voor sportfotografie bijvoorbeeld heeft de D600 een prima sensor, maar alleen maar centrale focuspunten is bijvoorbeeld bij sportfotografie soms wel een probleem.

Dan is het een ander verhaal inderdaad. Zit je verder nog met de 3d tracking in slecht licht, dan wil je liever het 51 punts focussysteem.

Ja, kun je wel leuk de ISO-range ophogen, maar op een gegeven moment ga je daar toch geen toepassingen meer voor hebben omdat je meer dan genoeg hebt aan de hoge ISO-range eronder? Ik denk dat meer mensen zitten te wachten op iets meer resolutie. Niet meteen de race aangaan met een medium format sensor camera PhaseOne IQ250 die 50MP heeft ofzo, maar van een flagship camera verwacht je toch eigenlijk wel zo'n 24MP-36MP? :@

Mja, da's natuurlijk wel weer waar, maar ik kan me haast niet voorstellen dat ze niet in staat zijn om vrijwel dezelfde peformance te leveren met 24MP files. :P Het is 2014.

Dit is natuurlijk wel een dedicated Pro camera. Daar zitten genoeg fotografen tussen die de limieten van hun gear opzoeken en dus nodig hebben.

Bijvoorbeeld voor low light action fotografie heb je nooit licht genoeg. Uiteindelijk moet je altijd een compromis doen met diafragma of sluitertijd. Meer ISO is wat mij betreft altijd welkom.

Daarnaast is de grap niet alleen dat je hoger kunt, maar vooral ook dat je cleaner kunt schieten op lagere ISO's. Ik durf mijn D3s zonder nadenken op 6400 te schieten. Maar 12800 al liever niet. 25600 alleen als het echt nodig. Twee extra stops aan de bovenkant van de ISO range betekent hopelijk dat je dus zonder nadenken op 12800 of zelfs 25600 kunt schieten. En dat zijn wel 'normale' waardes ;)

In beeldkwaliteit wellicht wel, de vraag is of je dan je framerate nog haalt want 24MP files met 11fps is een hoop data om te bufferen en/of weg te schrijven... Voor actie kun je beter 16MP schieten op 11fps dan 36MP op 6fps.

De Dx en Dxs modellen zijn altijd meer bedoeld geweest voor actie fotografen dan pixel-demanding fotografen. Daarvoor heb je al de D3x (en daarvoor de D2x) dus wellicht komt er binnenkort ook een D4x :P

Vandaag de sensor van m'n D600 maar eens schoongemaakt, dit was het resultaat na zo'n 8000 shutter clicks.

Hier een crop van de "beruchte" linkerbovenhoek:

Dit was na de eerste schoonmaak met een Sensor Swab:

2x per jaar met een swabje schoonmaken is nu ook weer niet zo'n ramp, bij mijn 20D moest het ook ieder jaar wel een keer. Vooral na een bezoekje aan het strand met windkracht 8...

Doe je dat gewoon zelf of besteed je dat uit? Ik krijg al de kriebels als ik erover nadenk om mijn sensor zelf schoon te maken :D .

Mijn sensor moet eigenlijk ook eens schoongemaakt worden. Maar ga dat dus mooi niet zelf doen. Ben daar een veel te grote prutser voor.
