Well written, exceptionally cast, and genuinely hilarious, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the working-class answer to Seinfeld. Native Philadelphian Rob McElhenney creates and stars in this single-camera sitcom alongside two of his long-time friends (Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton) and Sketch Show's Kaitlin Olson. Mutual proprietors of an Irish pub in South Philly, they offend black people, party with teens, and attempt to overcome their own wanton self-absorption in order to make their friendship and business work. If you've ever worked both sides of an abortion rally to pick up chicks or pretended to date a black co-ed just to prove you're not racist, then you'll adjust nicely to life in the City of Brotherly Love. Twisted, goofy, offensive, and often as absurd as Arrested Development, we thank FX for serving up quick-witted, legitimate laughs while other networks remain content to churn out sitcoms involving fat men, skinny wives, and George Lopez.
