Leroy Jethro Gibbs
Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), is the Special Agent In Charge. He was a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps until 1991 when his first wife Shannon and daughter Kelly were killed while in the protection of NIS.
Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo
Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), is a Special Agent and Senior Field Agent. He was a Peoria, Philadelphia, and Baltimore police officer before joining NCIS in 2001.
Ziva David
Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), is a Special Agent and Probationary Field Agent. She used to be a Mossad Liaison Officer on the same team. Before joining NCIS Ziva was in the Israeli Army for two years. She is the daughter of Eli David, Director of Mossad.
Timothy McGee
Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) is a Special Agent and Junior Field Agent. He has a degree in Computer Forensics from MIT and, along with Abby Sciuto, acts as the team's technology specialist.
Abigail "Abby" Sciuto
Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), is a forensics specialist assigned to NCIS. She has an affinity for Gothic fashion and the fictional brand "Caf-Pow" caffeinated beverages. She also has a daughter-father-like relationship with Gibbs.
Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard
Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), is the Chief Medical Examiner assigned to NCIS. He spent some time as a Medical Examiner in Vietnam, Bosnia and Afghanistan before working for NCIS. He likes to tell stories and is best friends with Gibbs.
Leon Vance
Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) is the Director of NCIS. Before that he was the NCIS Deputy Director and right hand to then Director Jenny Shepard. Before joining NCIS he trained to be a boxer. He attended the United States Naval Academy and was commissioned as a and 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, but was forced to take a medical discharge before ever serving due to having undergone surgery to repair a detached retina suffered during his boxing career.
Damn, die zag ik niet aankomen. Ik ben nog niet helemaal bij ( seizoen 7 pas ), maar ik gok dat heel moeilijk gaat worden om verder te gaan zonder Ziva. Continue hoop geven dat Tony en Ziva op den duur wel bij elkaar zouden komen, en dan nu dit. Eerst Kate die na seizoen 2 weg ging, en nu Ziva. Ben benieuwd hoe ze het gaan verklaren in de seizoensopener. The actress, whose contract expired at the end of Season 10, will appear at the start of Season 11 (premiering Sept. 24) to conclude Ziva’s story.
“I’ve had eight great years with NCIS and Ziva David,” the actress shares. “I have huge respect and affection for Mark [Harmon], Gary [Glasberg], Michael [Weatherly], David [McCallum], Rocky [Carroll], Pauley [Perrette], Brian [Dietzen], Sean [Murray], all of the team and CBS. I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.”
In a statement, CBS said, “We respect Cote’s decision, thank her for being an important part of the NCIS team, and for eight terrific years playing Ziva David. Cote and CBS share a great respect for the NCIS audience, and we look forward to working with her and the producers on appropriate closure in this chapter of Ziva’s story.”
News of De Pablo’s departure comes at the proverbial 11th hour, since NCIS is due to resume production next week. Her future with the show has been conspicuously in question since the spring, when her character of Ziva was steered into a dangerous mission of vengeance, at one point winding up in a (seemingly) brutal car crash.
After emerging from that episode-ending cliffhanger surprisingly unscathed, by season’s end Ziva and others had resigned from NCIS — and then the season ended with a four-month time jump, the disenfranchised agents thus far unaccounted for.
Show boss Gary Glasberg maintained back in April, when de Pablo stood as the only cast member unsigned for Season 11, “I’m confident that things will work out, and we’ll present the best finale that we can and go from there.”

Die woordgrapjes duurden ook 3 seizoenen te lang.
Ben benieuwd wat voor opvolger we krijgen voor Ziva. Haar vertrek zet wel een flinke streep door de Israel verhaal lijn denk ik, tenzij ze haar kunnen overhalen om incidenteel eens terug te komen voor een gastrol (er even vanuit gaande dat ze Ziva laten leven, wat ik wel hoop overigens).
Israel verhaallijn is toch al grotendeels klaar?
