Turken op FOK!? 
. Hè, wat doen die hier, waar komen ze vandaan?Nou eigenlijk begon het hiermee. User IHVK opende
dit prachtige topic. Hij vroeg zich oprecht af hoeveel Turken er op dit forum aanwezig waren.
De Turken op FOK! bleven natuurlijk niet stil en de één na de andere meldde zich in dit topic. Zoveel Turken op FOK!? Iedereen schrok er wel een beetje van. Het leek wel bijna een tsunami,
.
Na een dubieuze start mondde het topic toch uit in slowchat en uiteindelijk gaven Triggershot en yvonne de doorslag en is het topic veranderd in een echte GC-reeks.
De eerste paar topics van deze mooie reeks bestonden opvallend genoeg uit monologen van stukovich, Triggershot en Emel.
. En af en toe ook dialogen tussen deze users,
. En iets tussen 2 van de drie, wat niemand begreep,
.
IHVK, Burakius, Saban en één of andere kangoeroe lieten zich ook wel eens zien. Eigenlijk moet ik ook zeggen dat zonder Emel dit topic waarschijnlijk allang doodgebloed zou zijn, maar dat mag je niet zeggen, dus dat doe ik niet.
Enfin, later zijn er wat andere users bijgekomen en sommige zijn weggegaan.

Om eerlijk te zijn kennen de meeste Turken die ik ken geen vloeiend Nederlands. Ik kan ook niet zo goed Roemeens meer spreken. Sommige mensen hebben gewoon niet zo veel met het land van afkomst. Kan toch?

Dat geloof ik wel. Maar ik vind juist dat er weinig mensen zijn die beide talen vloeiend spreken. Dat is ook moeilijk. Als je veel Nederlands praat verwatert je Turks en visa versa. Een vriendin van mij die in Turkije is geboren merkt nu ook dat haar Turks slechter wordt naarmate ze langer in Nederland is.

Mijn oma werd echt continue boos op mensen die zeiden dat ik Turks moest leren; dan zei ze waarom leren jullie geen Engels of Duits

Ik moet heel af en toe ook nadenken bij het formuleren van een Turkse zin, wellicht omdat ik het tot nu toe toch niet zo intensief heb gesproken als het Nederlands, waarin ik natuurlijk jarenlang onderwijs heb gehad op school. Toch versta ik zelfs het Turks dat wordt gesproken op een hoger, academisch niveau probleemloos. Ik merk ook dat mijn vocabulaire veel uitgebreider is dan die van de meeste 3e generatie Turken in Nederland.
