Ivi Adamou will sing La la love in Baku. Tonight the Cypriot final took place as three potential entries battled to win the right to be performed in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Cyprus will participate in the first semi-final on 22nd May.
La la love was the hot favourite to win. The song is penned by Alex Papaconstantinou, Bjorn Djupstrom, Alexandra Zakka, Viktor Svensson. Christos Grigoriades hosted the show broadcasted live from Studio 3 of RIK TV Studios in Nicosia. The absolute majority of our readers agreed with the result. Infact almost 70% (69.8%) voted for La la love in our poll.
The dance tune is expected to be presented well, at full scale in the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Baku. In tonight's national final Ivi did not sing any of the songs live and she appeared in the same short silver dress for all the acts. Last year's Cypriot representative, Christos Mylordos also appeared in the show. He performed his Eurovision entry San Aggelos S'agapisa.
Already back on August 5th 2011, Ivi was selected by the Cypriot broadcaster. Adamou, born in Famagusta in 1993, shot to fame after participating in the Greek version of the X Factor show where she placed eighth.
