Wat meer info:
Now for his military duty, many people have questioned why Park Ji-sung and Lee Chung-Yong do not have to complete their mandatory military service. Park Ji-Sung was part of the 2002 world cup squad which achieved huge success by coming in fourth(albeit suspicious referee decisions) and hence was exempt from the duty; this was a special case. Lee does not have to complete his service because he didn't attend high school, he dropped out from middle school for his career. Park Chu young on the other hand, must return to Korea before 29 to complete his service, this applies to every other Korean in Europe currently (Ki from Celtic, Son from Hamburg, etc.) In order for athletes to be exempt he or she must come in third or higher in a major competition (world cup, Olympics). Thus Park's only hope for exemption is coming in third or higher in the 2012 London Olympics, chosen as a Wild-card (which is highly unlikely). Otherwise he will be leaving Arsenal in 3 years time.
Ben benieuwd wat er gebeurd als hij een topspeler blijkt te zijn.
