Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.

en PSP Go kwam ook (1 maand) eerderuit in Europa en Amerika dan in Japan
mischien zelfs wel slim om zich op het Westen te concentreren, de Japanners zijn nog steeds druk met PSP en die ligt hier nog maar nauwelijks in de schappentegenwoordig

Dat is/was mijn grootste bezwaar tegen PSP en zo kijk ik ook een beetje naar NGP. tja dat komt allemaal door die smartphones van tegenwoordig, omdat mensen het niet erg vinden om een fiks bedrag voor zoiets neer te leggen omdat je het toch per maand betaald 
Mits voldoende gebruikt niet te traceren en volledig privacy ongevoelig.

De twee touchscreens zijn een goed begin. Die zorgen ervoor dat de games die de DS zo populair hebben gemaakt ook mogelijk zijn op de NGP, in een verbeterde vorm uiteraard. The RG will run Android, though which version is anyone’s guess at the moment. The CPU is stated to be running at 1GHZ and though the actual chip isn’t listed, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an ARM Cortex A8 since they are cheap now and still relatively powerful.

De grootte van het besturingssysteem moet worden verlaagd (in vergelijking, bijvoorbeeld de iPhone), het loslaten van de grootte van RAM-geheugen voor basistaken. In aanvulling op de 256 MB RAM-geheugen "klassieke", kunnen programmeurs ook gebruik maken van 26 MB RAM, blijven voor de routines die snelle toegang nodig hebben en kan niet worden opgeslagen in een gefragmenteerde vorm. Als het geheugen management is geoptimaliseerd, moeten de neerwaartse herziening van het RAM-geheugen niet te schaden, vooral als de toegang (bus) naar de externe flash kaart is snel genoeg.
Met betrekking tot de VRAM, met "slechts" 128 MB, roept een paar trucs, maar geen grote ongerustheid bij de ontwikkelaars. De PowerVR wordt bijzonder effectief zijn in termen van geheugen beheer en de compressie van texturen, moet de impact op de grafische kwaliteit effecten weer minimaal.
Eigenaar van de winkel
Een andere opmerkelijke verandering: de verdwijning van de 16 GB ingebouwd flash geheugen aanvankelijk was gepland. De SD-kaartsleuf voor de eerste development kits geeft manier om een nieuwe versie ontwikkeld om eigenaren tegemoet het externe geheugen, waarschijnlijk een oplossing dicht bij de SD-architectuur, maar met inbegrip van technologie en beveiliging opties. Althans aanvankelijk, zal het dan verder door Sony om de externe geheugen te kopen. Dit doet sterk denken aan het beleid is altijd geweest de streep met zijn geheugen kaarten op PS1 en PS2 meestal (MagicGate).
In de startblokken
De ontwikkelaars werken hard aan de ontwikkeling van de eerste games console, geholpen door een ontwikkelomgeving van ongekende kwaliteit voor een Sony apparaat. Onze bronnen bij ontwikkelaars blij met de fabrikant voor het aantal en de kwaliteit van zijn instrumenten, zijn voorbeelden van routines en bibliotheken, en vooral voor zijn multi-platform engine (PC/PS3/NGP) al volledig functioneel.
Ze klagen altijd dat de quad-core processor, slechts drie toegankelijk zijn voor programmeurs, de vierde groep is gereserveerd voor de kernel en andere ondersteunende taken (veiligheid ...). Zij echter verheugd over de Out-of-order speculatieve processor ARM, die de "initiatief" kunt nemen om berekeningen uit te voeren in afwachting van de instructies van de code en is daarom bijzonder effectief, ondanks zijn lage energieverbruik.
Alle definitieve kenmerken, evenals het geheel van de titels lanceren zal duidelijk worden onthuld door Sony op de aankomende E3.

These are all synonyms for the successor of the PSP. But what is the final name?
The NGP was officially announced in January of this year. The release of the PSP successor itself wasn’t a big shock. We all knew it had to come eventually. The real shock was the specs of the device, which was essentially credited as a PS3 Portable with similar graphics.
After the announcement it became a tad silent around the NGP as Sony is waiting on the E3 to announce more.
But today we received some new, and exclusive, information from an anonymous source.
The official name of the NGP! Rumor has it that the new Sony handheld will bear the name PS Vita. Vita is Latin/Italian for ‘life’. Does Sony hope to bring life back into their stock? Do they want to rejuvenate the PSP? Revitalize your needs for portable gaming?
Our source tells us that this will be the definite and final name of the new system Sony will bring out at the end of 2011. Sony is expected to give further announcements on the E3 next week. In my opinion this is a very surprising name. Mainly because it will be the first innovative name Sony is using for any of its consoles/handhelds.
P.S. Please remember to take this with a grain of salt and this is NOT fake information that we have made up. The source cannot be proven reliable, of course, but this site was not set up with the intention of getting hits with bogus information.
