Ik zeg Eric Youngquote:"I've decided that the right decision for my career is to leave TNA when my contract expires in October. I have my doubts on whether they'd even make an attempt to re-sign me, but regardless, it's something I have to do for a variety of personal reasons.
I got back from the gym (and a hectic couple of days all-round) three hours or so ago and the first thing I did was re-watch an old ‘compilation’ VHS tape of my best matches that a fan gave to me back in 2006 at a signing. Having watched most of it, it’s reiterated to me that I’m in the same position now as I was four years ago with my current gimmick and standing in the TNA pecking order. In fact, thinking about it, I’m probably worse off now. I’ve not been given a chance to come into my own (sans a brief run in 2009) and neither have many other guys. Bobby Roode, Storm, Sabin, Shelley, Joe – they should have done a lot more by now. Every so often TNA signs a big-name who was relevant however many decades ago and they assume that he’s going to bring in a ton of new fans, and in the process they force us to ‘start over’ and ‘pay our dues’ suggesting that magically all of the previous fans that knew and loved us have disappeared. News-flash – ratings haven’t changed, buy-rates haven’t changed – all that’s changed is the average age and the amount of money that is going out of Bob Carter’s pocket.
Until there’s a drastic and long-overdue overhaul backstage, I fear that nothing will change. If nothing changes then TNA faces another Monty Brown/Chris Harris situation – guys deserving of more that are tired of being pushed aside for old guys from the outside. Sting, Nash, Hogan, Flair, Booker, Devon, ‘Mr 0.5’ RVD, Ray, Tommy – they all have to go if TNA is to develop its own identity and truly develop into a self-sufficient company that isn’t reliant on outside funding to keep them afloat. This is nothing I haven’t already told them face-to-face in the past and through an anonymous email sent to over 20 TNA officials a couple of days back.
If I'm attacking individuals personally and it's seemed unneccesary then I'm sorry - but I'm a man who's become very bitter and I don't want it to be this way any longer. I'm suffocating in my current environment.
I had a lot more written out earlier but due to my lack of computer-acumen and experience I somehow deleted all of it and had to start over. In retrospect, maybe it was for the best considering the content of what was written."

vooral dit doet me denken aan EY.
