Tuurlijk luister ik dit soort muziek ook weleens, ideaal als je je ergens op moet concentreren, maar ook weer niet in de stilte datgeen wilt doen.

yup. Al vind ik Dark Ambient lekkerder dan normale Ambient.
Pete Namlook maakt overigens fijne ambient en voor leuke IDM kan ik je AUTECHRE aanraden.

The Caretaker! Wat een plaat is dat On, iemand schreef ergens alsof je door een door oorlog getroffen gebied loopt en uit de kapotte huizen een platenspeler met jaren 40 muziek hoort. Ik vond dat wel een goeie beschrijving.
Ik luister het bijna alleen maar, in ieder geval als ik thuis achter m'n pc zit te chillen .In dat andere topic had ik Dzihan & Kamien al genoemd. Verder:

Met Theoretically pure anterograde heeft hij ook wat leuks geprobeerd.

Een album als The Return Of The Space Cowboy vind ik toch wel in het rijtje acid-jazz passen, op dat album is de zang van Jay Kay niet al te uitbundig, en hadden ze de overstap naar de meer funky/disco muziek nog niet gemaakt.
