Zoals ik al zo vaak heb gevraagd, en meerderen met mij, dit is al zo lang bekend, telkens als er even geen nieuws is krijgen we dit soort dingen voorgeschoteld, waarom wordt dat nu naar buiten gebracht?
Ik ben het wel met je eens dat dit op zijn zachtst discutabel is maar de verhoren zijn opgenomen als het goed is en kunnen nogmaals beluisterd worden, de meeste feiten stammen uit de eerste helft van dit jaar, het wordt nu met een hoop bombarie, gescript en opgepoetst naar buiten gebracht door een mediamachine waar een gemiddeld bedrijf een moord voor zou doen.
Sorry maar ik hecht aan dit soort dingen al een poosje geen waarde meer, enkel nieuws met betrekking tot het meisje zelf en/of haar ontvoerders/moordenaars vind ik waardevol en de rest gewoon propaganda.

Ik dacht overigens dat de verhoren wél waren opgenomen maar kan dat bericht ff niet vinden. Maar dat kan mogelijk verklaard worden door de manier waarop de honden getraind zijn de sporen te herkennen zoals deze blogger beschrijft: "Incidentally, not all cadaver dogs use the same alert signal. According to the site “Beginning a Cadaver Dog” some handlers prefer that their dog do a bark alert at the indication of cadaver, others prefer that their dog will scratch at the cadaver. So perhaps the cadaver dog Gerry McCann witnessed on video going ‘rigid’ was that particular dogs alert stance."

Ik geloof trouwens dat het DNA niet eens hoofdonderdeel is voor de bewijsvoering, mogelijk toch meer de onderlinge verschillen van verklaringen, CCTV-beelden en ook nog de telefoon-taps.

Anyway, was ik nog even vergeten, een stukje uit The Times van gisteren: "Gerry has gone back to work half-days, and has finally told the British Heart Foundation he plans to go ahead with the research fellowship they awarded him, a week before he was accused of being involved in his daughter’s death. He had told me, weeks ago, about the six-figure grant and how it meant almost nothing in terms of professional advancement, but might one day help in the prevention and treatment of heart disease. Zo, dat besluit hij dus even zelf, moet ik nog zien of dat doorgaat want dat was voor zijn status van 'arguido' i'snt it?!

THE key witness in the missing Madeleine McCann case was in hiding last night after fleeing Portugal. Police have sworn the waiter to secrecy over his vital testimony and know where he is. But friends say he is terrified his identity is about to be revealed and that he will come under pressure from rival factions in the case.

He is scared of British and Portuguese government influence in the probe. Friends claim he is also wary of the team of private eyes hired by Kate and Gerry McCann to help find their daughter. The mother of expat British estate agent Robert Murat – the only other suspect in the case – has accused investigators of bribing witnesses into changing their stories.

The tapas bar waiter – described by police as their “trump card” – has given what detectives believe is the most reliable account of what happened the night the four-year-old vanished. They have questioned him three times, most recently last week.

Officers say his story can prove Madeleine’s parents are lying over her disappearance. Many of the 100 questions officers want to ask the McCanns and their holiday friends – the so-called Tapas Nine – are thought to be based on his information. One said: “He does not want to be involved in any of this. He was just a restaurant worker. His only problem was remembering food orders. He’s terrified.” The waiter was the only resort worker to see Kate, 39, raise the alarm after apparently discovering her daughter missing just after 10pm on May 3. McCanns 'back in the frame' after new Maddy apartment evidence is sent to the UK
Portuguese police are sending new forensic material in the Madeleine McCann case to British scientists, it was revealed today. The previously untested evidence is believed to come from the holiday apartment where she was last seen.

The move indicates that police in Portugal are maintaining their case that Madeleine died in the flat on the night of 3 May and that Kate and Gerry remain prime suspects. It is believed that the latest tests are designed to bolster the original forensic results from the apartment, which are believed to have found traces of Madeleine's blood.

Experts from the Forensic Science laboratory in Birmingham will also conduct separate tests to establish where DNA already found in the McCanns' apartment came from. To do this, further samples from the dozens of people who were in the apartment either before or after the girl disappeared are being sent to the laboratory.

The decision to submit the new forensic material was taken after a meeting in Leicestershire between Portuguese detectives and the British scientists. Sources close to the investigation say that the aim is to "bring into sharper focus" the results previously sent to Portugal and to remove any possible alternative explanations for these findings.

Today's disclosures follow persistent claims, in the UK and Portugal, that the value of the forensic findings had been wrecked by the police failure to seal off the scene for weeks. Sceptics have also claimed that the slow pace of the Portuguese investigation mean that the inquiry is running aground.

Sources in Britain dismiss such claims and say that although progress is methodical rather than spectacular, the new tests are intended to firm up the case being built by Portuguese detectives. "New material is being sent and tests will be conducted to eliminate some people and to shine a brighter light on the results that have already been found," said one source close to the investigation."

"There is no dramatic change in the course of the inquiry and although progress might be slower than some people might expect, that does not mean that nothing is happening." The new forensic tests come three months after a first batch of findings were sent to Portugal by experts from the Forensic Science Service.

The arrival of these initial results led to the McCanns being named as official suspects, although both continue to strongly deny any involvement in their daughter's disappearance. No official confirmation of what these tests found has been provided, but leaks from Portugal suggest they include spots of Madeleine's blood in the Praia da Luz apartment and traces of her bodily fluids and hair in the couple's hire car. En weer sources close to en according to, ze denken echt dat we niet wijs zijn geloof ik, wie of wat er nu precies aan het draaien zijn weet ik niet maar dat er in cirkeltjes om elkaar heen wordt gedraaid is duidelijk, misschien zijn ze nog steeds aan het uitzzoeken wie de stoerste agenten heeft oid, experts of woordvoerders of weet ik veel.
En ook weer de geruststellende woorden dat er heus waar nog schot in de zaak zit en dat er achter de schermen echt nog wel iets gedaan wordt, wie proberen ze nu te overtuigen?

Dat bericht had ik al eerder gepost, die waiter was al een paar keer ondervraagd en is misschien terecht bang, vooral voor het McCann-kamp, want onder dat bericht van mij refereerde ik aan de angst van Murat's vriendin Michaela Walczuch en z'n moeder Jenny, Metodo 3 PI's zijn bezig met een ware witchhunt, alles aanpakken om de aandacht op de ouders weg te krijgen en ook vooral niet zoeken naar Madeleine, dat is wel duidelijk. Maar voor de rest snap ik er echt geen hout meer van. Of het moet toch zijn dat dit alles krantenvulsel is en dat binnen korte tijd het allemaal over is, gaan we over tot de orde van de dag en zijn ze Madeleine gewoon vergeten...just like that, met een knip van Kate's vingers.... (behalve natuurlijk het Trade mark Madeleine, dat wordt nog wel tijden uigemolken...)

Misschien dat ze niet zelf posten maar iig mensen die door hen/het Maddy fonds betaald worden, dat van die online kranten kan best, zou misschien ook verklaren waarom sky er mee is gestopt.

BRUSSEL - De Portugese journaliste Maria do Céu Neves heeft dit jaar een Europese journalistenprijs gewonnen met een reportage over de discriminatie van Portugese en Poolse migranten in Nederland. Eurocommissaris Vladimir Spidla (Sociale Zaken) maakte de winnaars van de perswedstrijd ‘Verschil moet er zijn, discriminatie niet’ dinsdag in Brussel bekend.

Journaliste Maria do Céu Neves verplaatste zich in het leven van immigranten door vorig jaar als werkzoekende naar Nederland te reizen. In haar reportage over lage lonen, lange werkdagen, slechte werkomstandigheden en voortdurende onzekerheid omschreef ze Polen en Portugezen als ‘de nieuwe slaven van Nederland’. Het artikel is een waarschuwing aan onder meer Nederland over de slechte omstandigheden waarin immigranten werken, aldus de journaliste van dagblad Diario de Noticias
