Ik hoop dat ze het meisje gewoon nog vinden maar die gedachte zal ondertussen wel behoorlijk naief zijn

Ah, een Nederlandse connectie gevonden, Eef Hoos, eigenaar van een dierencrematorium, op 30 min rijden van Praia da Luz. Hij geldt niet als verdachte maar de Portugese politie is op zoek naar Madeleine omdat ze menen dat het meisje twee maanden geleden al niet meer leefde en dat haar lichaam misschien nooit meer wordt gevonden. De boel is tot nader order gesloten:

A Polícia Judiciária está a investigar os crematórios existentes na região do Algarve. O objectivo é despistar todas as possibilidades de encontrar vestígios do corpo de Madeleine, conseguindo assim terminar as investigações e deduzir acusação no processo sobre o desaparecimento da menina britânica.







Fontes contactadas pelo CM recusaram adiantar quais os crematórios contactados, embora tudo indique que se trate de crematórios privados e não licenciados.

O CM contactou um deles, o Creon Starlight, que funciona há dois anos em Castelo de Nave, no meio da Serra de Monchique. O casal holandês, que é seu proprietário, oferece serviços para cremar animais de estimação, desde pássaros a outros de maior porte. O CM foi ontem ao local para saber se Hendrik e Jeannette Hoos foram visitados pela Judiciária, mas ninguém abriu a porta.

Ainda segundo o que o CM apurou, as autoridades estão também a verificar a possibilidade do corpo da criança ter sido levado para Espanha. Foram igualmente investigados crematórios naquele país, mas nada de relevante terá sido para já apurado.

KATE INTERROGADA

Entretanto, Kate McCann, que será novamente interrogada pela polícia, deverá ser inquirida em Inglaterra e não intimada a regressar ao nosso país. A Polícia Judiciária vai ter de enviar todos os elementos para aquele país e terá de dizer qual a lista de perguntas que deverão ser exactamente feitas. Nessa altura, Kate McCann conhecerá ainda todas as provas que recaem sobre si, de forma a poder responder ao questionário policial.

Ainda segundo apurou o nosso jornal, as buscas deverão ser brevemente retomadas. Desconhecendo-se para já quando, mas tudo indica que a Polícia Judiciária voltará ao terreno nos próximos dias, devendo procurar o corpo em locais concretos e o mais precisos possível.

O juiz Pedro Frias também já autorizou as autoridades a apreender o diário de Kate, o que terá igualmente de ocorrer através de uma diligência internacional.

A nova assessora de imprensa dos McCann, Nathalie Orange, esclareceu ontem que Kate e Gerry só voltarão a Portugal para serem ouvidos, se e quando forem formalmente notificados.

O CM sabe ainda que um psicólogo ao serviço da polícia britânica foi contactado pela PJ para dar aconselhamento ao nível das técnicas de interrogatório, em função das provas científicas que já foram recolhidas.

Uma das maneiras sugeridas foi a de que as autoridades, no diálogo com kate, nunca tratassem a criança pelo nome próprio, apenas como “filha”.

CARRO ALUGADO CINCO VEZES ANTES DOS MCCANN

O Renault Scénic, onde foram encontrados os vestígios que se presumem ser de Madeleine, foi alugado cinco vezes antes do carro ter sido entregue ao casal McCann. O primeiro aluguer, após o desaparecimento da criança (3 de Maio), ocorreu cinco dias depois (8 de Maio) e o monovolume esteve nas mãos de um cidadão inglês.

No dia 16, foi entregue a um português, apenas por um dia, e, no dia seguinte, foi alugado por uma companhia de seguros. Os dois últimos ocupantes do Renault Scénic, antes de Kate e de Gerry, foram um cliente do Ocean Club (entre 23 e 25 de Maio) e uma mulher chamada Patrícia, tendo alugado o carro por apenas um dia.

Todo este trabalho de pesquisa, verificar quem andou com o Renault Scénic entre 3 de Maio e o dia em que a viatura foi alugada pelos McCann, já foi feito pelas autoridades, mas nada foi encontrado. Não há qualquer relação entre estes condutores e os McCann, de forma a poder imputar-lhes o transporte do corpo da menina, conforme as autoridades acreditam ter acontecido naquele carro e conforme se indicia pela quantidade de vestígios recolhidos.

Recorde-se, ainda, segundo o CM ontem noticiou, que além de Gerry McCann o carro podia também ser conduzido por Michael Wright, primo de Kate e a determinado momento um dos porta-vozes da família.

Outra curiosidade é o facto de a mãe de Madeleine não figurar como segunda condutora da viatura, mesmo tendo carta de condução, como se viu posteriormente, designadamente agora em Rothley, na cidade onde vive, a conduzir com regularidade.

Entre 27 de Maio e 3 de Julho, o monovolume fez também 2750 quilómetros, o que agora está a ser verificado pelas autoridades, para se apurar quais os trajectos que fez e quais são as hipóteses do corpo ter sido escondido nesses mesmos percursos. MENSAGEM DE APOIO DEIXADA NA IGREJA

Apesar de serem considerados suspeitos do desaparecimento da filha mais velha e de ocultarem o seu cadáver, os McCann continuam a receber apoio em Portugal. Ontem de manhã podia ler-se uma mensagem de apoio colocada na porta da igreja da Praia da Luz. Os locais e os turistas sabem que era nesta igreja que Kate e Gerry rezavam frequentemente pela pequena Madeleine. Um cartão amarrado a três pés de flores dizia: “Com amor e preces. Kate e Gerry, continuamos com esperança e a rezar pela Madeleine e acreditamos em vocês a 100%!”. Durante todo o dia de ontem, a paróquia algarvia manteve-se com a porta fechada. O CM contactou o padre José Pacheco para saber qual o motivo de a igreja estar fechada, mas este esteve sempre incontactável.

Ik ga eens een tegengeluid laten horen na tig delen.
Nu zie je op vakantie overal ouders die "hun kinderen alleen laten" en misschien zelfs nieteens op vakantie. En 99,9999999999% van die gevallen gaat het gewoon goed.
En die weinige keren dat het mis gaat wordt dan ook enorm breed uitgemeten, want dát kan natuurlijk niet, alsof de ouders al niet kapot gaan aan die wetenschap.
Ik kan het me persoonlijk niet zo 1,2,3 niet meer voor de geest halen, maar ik ben er vrijwel zeker van dat wij op vakantie ook nog weleens naar beneden zijn gegaan als de kinderen flink sliepen, niet om "van die kinderen af te zijn" maar omdat je de ervaring en zekerheid met je kinderen hebt dat ze doorslapen.

Schijnveiligheid? Uiteraard, maar óók de moeder die altijd op de kinderen's lip zit en die snel even een brief gaat posten als de kids slapen kan terugkomen en haar kinderen dood vinden bij een plotse fel uitslaande brand.
